Durga Puja also known as Durgotsav or Sharodotsav, is an annual Hindu festival originating in Bengal which reveres and pays homage to the Hindu goddess Durga and her victory over the shape-shifting asura, Mahishasura!

Every year around Durga Puja we publish our annual flagship magazine, “Sannikat” (meaning nearness) that showcases a variety of literary and artistic such as articles, short stories, poems, paintings, drawings and sketches, photographs, etc., contributed by members of the BAM community, and also highlights some BAM events, member accomplishments and other topics of interest to our community. The magazine is edited and published by Sannikat Editorial Board.
