Resident Adult Member
Benefits
All Adult Resident Members are eligible to
- Vote in BAM elections.
- Contest in BAM elections, provided they meet the necessary requirements for the position.
- Serve on BAM Standing Committees, Sub-committees, Special Initiatives, Teams, and Task Forces, subject to meeting the selection criteria and other eligibility requirements.
- Perform in BAM cultural events, in accordance with BAM Cultural Rules, Guidelines, and Event Policies.
- Submit articles and artwork for the BAM magazine, Sannikat, following the Editorial and Publishing Guidelines.
- Represent BAM at external events and on sports or other teams, as opportunities arise and subject to applicable selection criteria.
- Purchase tickets to premier BAM events, including Durga Puja, Lokkhi Puja, Saraswati Puja, Bengali New Year, and the Summer Picnic, at Members-Only discounted prices, along with any special Early Bird or Combo offers.
- Receive a copy of the BAM Annual Magazine, at a special Members-Only price determined by the Board of Directors.
- Attend BAM Member Appreciation Lunch/Dinner at no charge (complimentary).
- Purchase discounted tickets for BAM Partner Organization events when available for BAM members.
- Enjoy special discounts/offers at select Minnesota restaurants.
Resident Junior Member
Benefits
Junior Members (individuals under 18 years residing with Adult BAM Resident Members who are current with their membership fees) are eligible to
- Perform in BAM cultural events, subject to BAM’s Cultural Rules and Guidelines.
- Submit articles and artwork for BAM’s Sannikat magazine in accordance with BAM’s Editorial and Publishing Guidelines.
- Serve in positions reserved for, or open to, Junior Members on BAM Committees, Special Initiatives, Teams, and Task Forces.
- Represent BAM at external events and on sports or other teams when opportunities become available for Junior Members, subject to applicable selection criteria.
- Purchase tickets to premier BAM events (e.g., Durga Puja, Lokkhi Puja, Saraswati Puja, Bengali New Year, and Summer Picnic) at Members-Only discounted prices and any special Early Bird or Combo offers (if offered).
- Attend BAM Member Appreciation Lunch/Dinner at no charge (complimentary).

Non-Resident Member

Non-Resident Members (those residing outside the State of Minnesota) are eligible to
- Buy tickets to premier BAM events, such as Durga Puja, Lokkhi Puja, Saraswati Puja, Bengali New Year, and Summer Picnic, at Members-Only discounted prices, along with any special Early Bird or Combo offers (if offered).
- Attend BAM Member Appreciation Lunch/Dinner at a discounted rate.
- Receive special discounts/offers from select Minnesota restaurants.
- Not eligible to vote or contest in BAM elections.
- Not eligible to serve on BAM Standing Committees, Sub-committees, Special Initiatives, Teams, or Task Forces.
