Subho Saraswati Pujo!

Saraswati Puja is the day to honor Ma Saraswati, the Goddess of learning, art, music, knowledge, and wisdom. Vasant Panchami (or Basant Panchami) is a vibrant festival honoring Goddess Saraswati and celebrating the arrival of spring. Children begin their academic journey with Haath-e-Kori, books and musical instruments are placed at the Goddess’s feet for her blessings, and families come together to embrace the joy of knowledge.

Ticketing and Pricing

Totally FREE event for all registered BAM members.

BAM will be sponsoring the temple Satsang lunch on January 24, 2026 and will not charge anyone (whether BAM Member or nonmember) any amount for lunch that day.

The Hindu Temple of Minnesota has a mandatory $7 donation requirement for anyone entering the lunch area. This amount is collected directly by the temple and is not charged by BAM.
For this event, BAM will absorb this donation for all “BAM members” and will donate the amount to the temple on their behalf.
This means Saraswati Puja 2026 will be a completely free event for all BAM members, fully sponsored by BAM.

Nonmembers are welcome to attend. There will be no charge by BAM for this event or for lunch, but they will be required make the $ 7 donation directly to the temple official at the entrance to the dining area.
