Virtual Exhibit Award

Bengali Association of Minnesota received the IndiaFest 2020 Best Virtual Exhibit Award at the Connect India event of Indian Association of Minnesota (IAM), held in Plymouth, MN on April 3, 2021.

IndiaFest 2020 was held virtually on five days between July 4th 2020 (US Independence Day) and August 15th 2020 (India’s Independence Day), when different IAM partner organizations showcased their cultural traditions and their outreach activities in Minnesota. BAM exhibit was about the history and cultural heritage of West Bengal, and Bengalis in Minnesota. Binita Sinha, current President of Bengali Association of Minnesota (2021) and Outreach Chair (2020) received the award from Dr. S.K. Dash, Chairman of Dr. Dash’s Foundation.
